Patanjal Yoga
Patanjal Yoga – The Path to Inner Harmony
At our Gurukul, Patanjal Yoga is taught as a sacred science of self-discipline, mental clarity, and spiritual awakening. Rooted in the ancient wisdom of Maharishi Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, this practice goes far beyond physical postures—it is a holistic path to inner balance and liberation.
Students are guided through the Eight Limbs of Ashtanga Yoga:
- Yama – Ethical disciplines
- Niyama – Personal observances
- Asana – Steady postures
- Pranayama – Control of breath
- Pratyahara – Withdrawal of senses
- Dharana – Concentration
- Dhyana – Meditation
- Samadhi – Blissful absorption
Through daily practice, chanting, meditation, and reflection, learners develop strength, focus, compassion, and self-awareness. In our serene and disciplined environment, Patanjal Yoga becomes a way of life, cultivating harmony between body, mind, and soul.
Patanjal Yoga – A Joyful Path for Young Minds
At our Gurukul, we introduce children to Patanjal Yoga in a fun, gentle, and meaningful way. Inspired by the great sage Maharishi Patanjali, this ancient practice helps children become calm, focused, strong, and kind-hearted.
Through simple asanas (yoga poses), fun breathing exercises (pranayama), and story-based meditations, children learn how to relax their minds, care for their bodies, and understand their emotions.
We also introduce the Eight Limbs of Yoga in a way children can relate to:
Yama & Niyama
Learning honesty, kindness, cleanliness, and self-discipline through stories and real-life examples.
Asana & Pranayama
Practicing balance, strength, and breath awareness with fun games and group activities.
Dhyana (Meditation)
Helping young minds find peace and stillness, even for a few minutes each day.
Our Gurukul creates a joyful space where yoga is not just exercise—it becomes a natural part of a child’s day, helping them grow with confidence, clarity, and compassion.
