Gurukul in Kashi – A Living Legacy of Timeless Learning
In the sacred city of Kashi, where the Ganga flows and temples whisper stories of ancient wisdom, stands a humble yet powerful center of learning — our Gurukul. Rooted in India’s timeless tradition of holistic education, this Gurukul is more than just a school; it is a way of life.
Our Gurukul is a traditional Indian residential school where students (shishyas) live and learn under the guidance of a guru. The learning here is not limited to books — it encompasses character, discipline, spirituality, arts, and practical knowledge. The ancient Gurukul system emphasizes harmony with nature, respect for elders, and deep inner transformation.

Why Kashi?
Kashi (Varanasi), one of the oldest living cities in the world, has always been a beacon of knowledge, dharma, and moksha. It is said that true learning begins where the ego ends — and there is no better place than Kashi for such a sacred pursuit. The vibrations of this land carry centuries of penance, devotion, and wisdom. Establishing a Gurukul here is not just a tradition; it is a spiritual responsibility.

Founded by Mohan Acharya
Our Gurukul was founded by Mohan Acharya, a dedicated scholar and spiritual teacher committed to reviving the Gurukul tradition in its truest form. With years of experience in Vedic education and a heart devoted to Sanatana Dharma, Acharya-ji envisioned a space where children can grow in wisdom, virtue, and self-awareness — grounded in the roots of Bharat yet prepared for the future.
Our Vision
Under the guidance of Mohan Acharya, the Gurukul in Kashi seeks to bring back the values of ancient learning in a way that speaks to today’s generation. With a balanced approach of Vedic education, Sanskrit studies, yoga, and moral values, we aim to raise conscious, capable, and grounded individuals. This is not education for mere livelihood, but for life itself.
